Last Assignment -  CEO RAK Airways.  Aim - to get RAK Airways commercially operational air-borne . RAK Airways is the National carrier of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, the 4th Designated carrier of the UAE . The target of  6  Months completed in just 99 days
 [ the other Three designated UAE carriers being (i) Emirates Airlines of Emirate of Dubai , (ii) Etihad Airways of Emirate of Abu Dhabi and (iii) Al Arabia of the  Emirate of Sharjah ]

4 years as CMD of a PSE – Cement Corporation of India turning it in to a profitable corporation from a sick enterprise not having paid the salaries of its employees for over 10 months.

4 Years of invaluable Management Experience as Chairman- Cum-Managing Director of turning a Sick Public Sector CEMENT Company in to a vibrant profit making organization.

32 yrs. in CNS / ATM , Airport Management / Operations rising to the level of Board Member Operations of the International Airports Authority of India managing Passenger and Cargo Operations at all international Airports of India;

 As Board Member (Operations) IAAI assignment involved Close Interaction with all International and Domestic Airlines – understanding their problems of Ground Operations and resolving these at all Airports, as the primary responsibility was for all Operations, Security & Safety aspects of the all International Airports of India – including operational aspects of Passenger & Cargo Facilitation (Arrival Departure &Transit), Airside management, Airport Emergencies, liaison with Govt. Depts., Regulatory authorities operating at International Airports be it DGCA, Customs, Immigration, et al.

Earlier as Airport Chief since 1974 & During Assignments as Regional Executive Director Eastern (Kolkata) Region, Northern (Delhi) Region, Western (Mumbai) Region and as Exec. Director, Integrated Planning Cell, AAI was responsible for Chairing the Regional Operations Committee Meetings with All Airline representatives to resolve all Airline related Issues about CNS/ATM , Airport Space allocation, Operating Slot allocation, use of Common User Terminal Equipment, Providing Ground services like Aircraft Push back and other Ground handling facilities, Communication, Pre Flight Briefing / Bulletins. ATC Clearances etc.
